Cornelia Gassler received her Master's degree in productdesign with specialization in materialdesign at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The MA project investigated the variability of industrial production and resulted in a federally funded applied research project. Since 2014 she works as a researcher for the theme platform Materilität@hslu. The core interest of the platform is the exploration of materiality and its complex interrelationships in the context of design and architecture, as well as the teaching of these findings and competencies for the designprocess.
